Which accessory do you actually need?

  • Care supplies. Starting from scratch? The maintenance kit has oil, a cloth, a brush, a tension key and finger inserts. Already have a cloth and brush? The oil pen is all you need.
  • One pair on the move. The leather sleeve fits one 5” to 7” scissor.
  • A cutter and a thinner. The two-scissor case keeps them apart in one zip case.
  • Your working kit at the chair. The holster holds four scissors on you through a service.
  • A bigger collection. The Eco-Pro wallet holds up to seven scissors for the kit bag.
  • Mobile work. The toolbox carries scissors with your combs and clips. Choose Large if you also carry a hairdryer.
  • An apprentice kit. The comb set adds ten shapes, but keep the combs your educator taught you with.

What to check before you buy

  • Fit. Make sure the tension key fits your screw and the inserts fit your rings before you use them.
  • Size. Inside measurements aren’t listed for every case, so check your widest handles against the photos, or ask us.
  • Contents. Scissors and tools shown in cases are there for scale. Each listing says what’s included.

Common questions

Do I need a case for my scissors?

Yes, if they ever leave your station. A closed sleeve or case stops the blades knocking against combs, clips and other scissors.

What’s in the maintenance kit?

A 3 ml oil brush, a cleaning cloth, a cleaning brush, four finger inserts and a tension key. Check the key fits your scissors before you turn anything.

Will a 7-inch scissor fit the leather sleeve?

The Juntetsu sleeve is listed for one 5” to 7” scissor. Seat the tips fully inside before you snap it shut.

Do I need scissor oil if I have a cloth and brush?

Yes, if your maker says to oil the pivot. The oil pen’s brush tip puts a little oil where the blades cross. Some pivots need none, so check your maker first.
