Which Kasho should I start with?
The Design Master. It comes with an offset or straight handle, or left-handed, and KAI lists semi-convex blades and a ratchet screw for the series.
Do Kasho scissors need oiling?
Most do. Kasho's care page says to oil the pivot daily, apart from the Millennium and X-treme Perfection series, which need no oil or tension adjusting.
Are there left-handed Kasho scissors?
Yes: the Design Master Offset LEFTY in 5.5" and 6.0", and the Kasho Ivory Left Handed for close detail.
