SalonScissors uses cookies and browser storage for the cart, checkout and announcement-bar preference. The site does not load analytics or advertising cookies.

What the site stores

• Checkout session cookie (__Host-scissor_physical_payment): links your browser to your cart and checkout. It is secure and HttpOnly, and lasts up to 30 days.
• Cart copy (salonscissors_cart, in your browser’s local storage): keeps the cart drawer showing your items between pages.
• Cart state (salonscissors_cart_state, in local storage): keeps the information used to synchronise the saved cart with the cart service.
• Earlier cart backup (salonscissors_cart_legacy_backup, in local storage): may keep an older saved cart during migration. It is removed after a confirmed purchase.
• Last-order link (cart:last-receipt, in session storage): keeps the confirmed order ID and receipt link available as a shortcut in the cart for the browser session.
• Announcement bar (announcement-dismissed-at, in local storage): remembers that you closed the announcement bar.

Other services

• PayPal may set its own cookies in the PayPal payment window.
• The pages load fonts and scripts from Google Fonts and jsDelivr. Those services receive standard request details such as your IP address.

Managing cookies

You can clear or block cookies and site storage in your browser settings. If you do, your cart may empty or checkout may not complete.
