When would I use a styling razor?

Do the razors come with spare blades?
Some do. The Ichiro, Juntetsu and JP razors have an option with ten replacement blades. For Feather razors, check which Feather blade fits before you order refills.
Should I choose a guarded razor?
A guard covers part of the blade edge, so each stroke takes less hair. That makes it an easier place to start. The Juntetsu Ergonomic Feathering Razor is guarded.
