The cutting shear in this set is fixed at 7.0 inches. Its reach suits long salon sections and scissor-over-comb. The second tool is a 6.0-inch thinner; choose 16, 20, 30 or 40 teeth in the variant menu.

Pick the tooth count for the amount and spacing of weight removal you want, then use the thinner after the main line is cut. This is a two-piece kit with one cutter and one thinner, not a configurable cutter-length set.
